Cycling Tours

Even in this respect, the favourable features of our region offer perfect conditions for recreation. Come and enjoy the largely gentle slopes and our low-traffic public roads on two wheels! Our recommendation is to cycle along ideal and safe cycling routes leading you to sights that will make you want to stop and enjoy the view. Please consult the map for the differences in altitude you can expect in these cases. Let us draw your attention to the Three Rivers Cycling Route, an international and undemanding tour leading from Austria along the River Mura through Slovenia and Croatia all the way to our region. Here, the track leads along River Drava 200 km long, and joins bicycle route Euro Velo6 by River Danube. Furthermore, please find bicycle rental possibilities as well as bicycle tour guides who can organise and lead your trip in multiple languages. Organized tours by various cycling clubs are open for everyone and take place the whole year around.
